Cameron Fiddes

Hello! My name is Cameron Fiddes. I received a B.S. in Professional Writing at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Health Informatics at Boston University.

I've had a passion for writing since I was a child. I believe that the arts and STEM do not have to be mutually exclusive. Software deserves a clear user manual to ensure people know how to use it. Medical breakthroughs deserve fair, honest displays of how they can help people. Patient data (provided consent is given to share it) deserves to be recognized and assessed, no matter how obscure or unusual the patient's condition is. I could go on and on.

Altogether, arts record and create the narratives that drive science and technology forward— and I am determined to be part of that process. Writing is my talent and my craft, and data analysis and visualization are my keys to unlocking the narratives that underlie modern science and technology. I am determined to use my skills to make life better, even just a little bit, for the people around me.
